Robarts Spaces is hiring a Senior Project Manager and a Senior Interior Designer for our Shenzhen Studio.

We are seeking a mature PM, experienced in managing large, complex projects; trustworthy; a unity builder; excellent leadership and negotiation skills; bilingual; sustainability champion; and licensed (Grade 1 preferred).

The Senior Interior Designer will have excellent design skills and sensibility, able to work carefully and reliably on multiple projects efficiently, be a unity builder, problem solver, and be a role model in upholding company values.

Primary responsibilities include communicating design principles and functional requirements with Robarts Spaces team and clients, developing conceptual and schematic design with the Design Director and managing design development through completion of project. They will source new materials, products, and have a strong awareness of design trends and regularly communicate on and off site with Project Management, engineering, design and construction teams, ensuring quality design concepts are correctly executed.

We are also hiring MEP engineers in both Beijing and Shanghai. Experienced & knowledgeable in M&E engineering, technically strong, trustworthy, good communication & presentation skills, bilingual and licensed (preferred).

Robarts Spaces Partners Yaching Hsueh and Zheng Rong co-presented at the WORKSPACE Shanghai event as keynote speakers on September 2. Robarts Spaces Partner and Design Director Yaching Hsueh presented “The Story of the Renaissance of The Perfect Flight”, the design journey of Shui On’s new Shanghai Headquarters, at the Popoffice-hosted China Mall Show Design Forum in Shanghai. The symbol of the lighthouse with the indomitable perseverance of Jonathan Livingston Seagull, character from Richard Bach’s book, as the starting point attracted the audience and fostered a dynamic discussion about how this new office functions and about Shui On’s vision for future.
