One of the first design decisions for this 800-square-meter penthouse was to open up the space along the entire north wall, creating a 50-meter-long expanse of windows facing the Avenue of Heavenly Peace that is the main east-west artery through Beijing. By also opening views through the corner rooms—dining to the west and a study to the east—this apartment interior connects to the scale and presence of the city.
