The newly released print issue of Interior Design China magazine features the new Shanghai workplace of one of the world's top consulting firms, previously featured on ID’s official WeChat account. Inspired in part by the unique philosophy of this firm, we collaborated together with the client to inject a new concept into the design of the workplace. The flexibility and diversity of the space design fully reflect the company culture. The reception area is fluid and layered, and the landscape and natural light outside the window are fully utilized. Clean lines, comfortable furniture, together with the company's brand image color in the background, give all who use the space a sense of belonging, of home, and of vitality.

How do we transform a challenging, isolating experience into an opportunity to get closer and more connected, honoring those who are sacrificing so much for China and the world?

Over the last weeks we at Robarts Spaces have been admiring beauty found in our homes, outside our windows, and in the moments we may not usually observe, capturing photos and videos and sharing them with each other.

Beauty always brings healing and hope. Peering through different lenses, we are reminded that beauty comes from diverse perspectives, including the simplest ones.

As we shared, an idea emerged: “What if we invite our clients, collaborators and friends to join with us in Finding Beauty?”

We imagine many of you are also observing the beauty in this unique period and invite you share photos, videos, poems, and other reflections with us.

We will share these images, videos, and reflections every other week for the coming weeks via our official WeChat and LinkedIn accounts. Submissions can be shared anonymously. Please send yours to findingbeauty@robartsspaces.com (smaller than 10M).

Once the situation allows, we hope to come together for an exhibition of all submissions, to celebrate unity, courage, and strength.

The popular TV show "Elite Lawyers" has fueled public interest and conversation about law firm work spaces. AD's recent special report on this theme features Robarts Spaces designed King&Wood Mallesons' (KWM) Beijing office, demonstrating that the imaginary can indeed be real. The AD feature quotes Handel Lee, International Partner at KWM who states, "office should reveal the firm's past, present and future, who are we, and where are we heading, because the office will physically demonstrate the qualities, culture, and spirit of an organization".
